Through diligent prayer and study of God’s word we understand that God has called us to invite people into relationship with Jesus Christ and membership into his body, helping them become mature disciples, equipped to do ministry in the church and mission in the world all for the sake of magnifying God. In short, we believe our task at hand is “going and making disciples of Jesus Christ.”
God has commissioned us to reach anybody and everybody, but specifically people in and around the city of Racine. We will tend to the spiritual needs of all who God brings through our doors. We have fostered ministry to the deaf, ministry to the Chinese, while we reach out to the Racine community with acts of kindness as well as the Good News of Jesus Christ. We work with feeding the needy as well as housing and feeding the homeless through Harvest Outreach and HALO. The greatest need, of course, is a relationship with Jesus Christ.
All of these ministries take individuals who can help serve. Music, planning, helping, facilitating and teaching are all areas that are constantly in need. We believe you are blessed to be a blessing to others and we are committed to helping each individual get plugged into the family of God.
That being said we have teaching, small groups, and classes that aim to mature believers from various levels of spiritual maturity and biblical knowledge. We strive to provide children, teens and families with the tools they need to live healthy godly lives in a corrupt culture. The foundation of that is the Word of God.
Jesus said you will be my witnesses into the uttermost parts of the earth, and that’s why we support and encourage the ministry of world mission. Not only do we prayerfully and financially support missions around the world but we also encouraged those called to such ministries to step out and answer the call.
In the end this is a vision that carries on the ministry of Jesus Christ, transforming lives by bring them back into relationship with God their creator.
Faith Community Church began its ministry proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 1984. We are an independent, nondenominational fellowship.
