YOUnited In Mission Missions Conference Weekend – March 9-11 Founded on the WORD, Focused on the WORLD Mission: A Family Affair A Past to Remember…A Future to Pursue Ten percent of every dollar you give to the Lord as a tithe is set aside to fulfill God’s instructions to us to “go into all the world and preach the gospel.” (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15) How is FCC doing with this task? Friday, March 9 On Friday from 6:30-8:30 p.m., we will reach out around the globe using Skype to speak to our missionaries and hear how they are doing. Your presence on the Skype camera can encourage the missionaries and let them know they are not alone. We will also have a live presentation from missionary Matt Hall. Saturday, March 10 On Saturday morning from 8-12, we’ll do some mission work. Participating with Feeding Children Worldwide, we will be packing food bags to be sent to famine areas of the world. If you can make it downstairs, you can do this project! Children above the age of 8 are encouraged to join their parents. From 7-8:30 p.m., we’ll gather again to have ice cream sundaes with Paul and Xiao Goetz. This is an opportunity to sit and listen to them and ask questions. Sunday, March 11 Sunday morning’s message will be presented by Eldon Tracy, President of Feeding Children Worldwide, to help set our hearts on the mission we have been given as God’s family. Sign up in the lobby after service today. We’d like to know how many people will be attending.
Faith Community Church began its ministry proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 1984. We are an independent, nondenominational fellowship.
