Just a few months ago the COVID pandemic launched us into a huge change in the way we carry on during a viral epidemic. It has literally intruded into every area of life. I trust that you are finding your peace in Jesus and drawing on the many promises and principles He gives us to live by. Remember he promised …I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:20
While in quarantine and as we are slowly coming out of quarantine, we remain committed to Going and Making Disciples of Jesus Christ. With so many drastic changes it can almost make us forget about the great accomplishments that have been achieved by the power of God and to His glory. It may seem like a long time ago but it was just a few months ago that our building was ailing from many ills. We had challenges from water issues to upkeep and upgrade issues. Ironically it was quite providential that in order to move from point A to point B we had to start by removing our most cherished garden by the car port. But through the faithful giving and serving of many members a great portion of these challenges have been turned into victories. Together we accomplished technology upgrades, lobby and hallway painting and reconfiguration, painted the building exterior, and replaced water pumps and water drains in the lower level. I’m sure I’m missing a few. And then this spring more faithful servants capped it off by restoring our most cherished garden. May this be a testament that trials do come to an end and produce an even greater reward. Thank you, FCC. Well done.
Not only that but we had the joy of adding Kathy Falk, Nicole Scanlon, Kathy Smith, Ben and Tara Black, Karon Bouwma, and Lupe Leal as members of FCC. And I’ll include the people who were reached with the gospel by our missionaries across the globe.
This only represents a small fraction of the many advancements in the ministry of God’s kingdom that you will read about in the reports to follow. Please take the time to read, remember, and reflect on all the things you are a part of at Faith Community Church.
All for His glory,
Faith Community Church began its ministry proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 1984. We are an independent, nondenominational fellowship.
